What Information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you apply to join our server. When applying to join our server, we collect a name you wish to go by (does not have to be real), your Minecraft username, a Discord name, or an email address, as well as a few questions to determine your Minecraft play style and Minecraft play history. Upon joining our server, we also log the country you are from, this helps maintain the best hosting locations for our player base. We do not require any personally identifiable information to apply/join. We also collect information on in-game (Minecraft) play (e.g., gameplay length, session length, mining information, and other statistics). This information is not associated with an IP address.

Donations

We do not store any personal information when accepting donations, all of this information is handled by PayPal. If you use PayPal to process a donation, their GDRP info can be found here (https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/gdpr-readiness-requirements?CampaignName=VanityURL-GDPR).

Media

If you upload images to our Discord, you should avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Other Discord members can download and extract any location data from images on the server.

Where do we keep this information?

Information from applications is directly written to our Discord channel for application evaluation and is not stored in any other location by us. Allowlist and denylist information is stored in configuration files on the Minecraft server. The gameplay statistics that we gather are stored in a MySQL database.

What do we do with this information?

Your application information is only used to evaluate your application and determine whether or not you will be accepted as a probationary member. Allowlist and denylist are used to control access to servers. Gameplay statistics are used for monitoring server load, server growth, and server performance. We do this to ensure we are providing an optimal experience to community members.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we are compelled to do so to comply with the law. We will never release your information for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
